Sunny Liu is a third-year journalism student at Monash University.

Sunny has interned at the Herald Sun, Crikey, Broadsheet Melbourne, and some other print media. She participated in the 2015 Youth Press Gallery, and came back because she misses the atmosphere of being a journalist in politics.

She has learned a lot about state politics, politics reporting and story pitching from last year’s press gallery program. “It’s such a rewarding program and I have seen a considerable improvment in my reporting and communicating skills,” she said.
