Alice Rennison is a second year journalism student at La Trobe University.

She has experience in broadcast and print journalism. Alice has also had the pleasure of interviewing Anna Burke MP and CEO, Tony Nicholson, of the Brotherhood of St Laurence.

With a passion for politics Alice aspires to be a political journalist or a foreign correspondent. This passion is fuelled by Sarah Ferguson’s fierce interviewing, Annabel Crabb’s cooking, and the Silver Fox’s show, Q and A, on the ABC.

Like Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) Alice loves travelling, and plans to go to Burma, and possibly Laos or India (or both) at the end of the year.

One of Alice’s inspirations is journalist Zoe Daniels from the ABC, because of her resolve in tough situations.

Alice is looking forward to participating in the YMCA Youth Parliament Press Gallery in 2015 to acquire new skills, gain experience in the field of journalism and to report on issues that matter to youth.
