Samuel Ord is a reporter and writer born and raised in Melbourne, Victoria. After graduating from La Trobe University in 2014 Samuel has gone on to work at both the ABC and News Corp as well as pursuing a range of personal projects in his spare time, ranging from media management positions to screenwriting and film production. A lover of all things Australia, the bulk of Samuel’s work is concerned with the issues society is facing not only today, but is also likely to face across generations to come. Samuel often writes on political, philosophical and social topics which deal with the external and internal factors which change behavior in both individuals and groups of people. In some shape or form Samuel’s writing is always about change – even when it may not appear to be on the surface.
When Samuel is not writing he’s most likely spending time with his dogs or heading out to the cinema, the two things he loves most in life. If you can’t find him there then he’s probably watching his beloved Richmond Tigers or down at a suburban football ground supporting his local team.
